J K Yoga Kirtana, B High Graded artist of AIR, Bangalore, hails from a literary & musical family and is the granddaughter of Prof. Veturi Anandamurthy, an eminent Telugu Scholar and researcher and the daughter of eminent Veena Vidushi Yoga Vandana. She started her musical training from the tender age of 5 under the tutelage of  Vidushi Smt P. Ramaa, an eminent vocalist from Karnataka.

She is presently the disciple of noted Senior Musician, Sangeetha Kalacharya Vidushi Smt. Neela Ramagopal.

Yoga Kirtana has been performing for the past several years and has given numerous concerts on most big platforms and stages like the Bangalore Gayana Samaja, Nadasurabhi Cultural Association, Bharathiya Samagana Sabha, Madras Music Academy, Naadainbam, Brahma Gaana Sabha, Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan.. to name a few.

 

Currently she is a full time Musician and the Curriculum Head for Carnatic Music with the Shankar Mahadevan Academy. Yoga Kirtana has also been teaching music to several students in India and Abroad for the past 10 years.
